Lhentse monastery - one of the old monasteries in Sikkim was built around the middle of the 18th century, you can get your adrenaline rushing with a short trek to this sacred site or you can go on horse back.
Phursachu (Hot Spring) - is said to have healing powers, people from all over come here to soak themselves in this hot-spring and get their ailments cured. It is believed to cure various skin diseases and joint pains.
Rahu Ney (Caves) - is a religious spot where Guru Rimpoche the patron saint of Sikkim meditated in the forests in this part of Sikkim.
Khecheopalri Lake - is a tranquil spot and the most sacred lake in Sikkim. This lake is believed to posses wish fulfilling powers. The lake remains hidden in the rich forest cover. It is believed that the birds do not permit even a single leaf to float on the lake surface. There is a motor able road from Pemayangtse right up to the lake area. Khecheopalri lake is considered as one of the sacred lakes of this state both by the Buddhist and the Hindus.
Dubdi monastery - oldest monastery in Sikkim, is located on a hilltop above Yuksom. It was established soon after the coronation of the first Chogyal of Sikkim in 1641 A.D.
Tashiding monastery - Sikkim's most sacred of the monasteries was built in the 18th century. It is believed that just a glimpse of the monastery would cleanse all sins.
Pemayangste monastery - was originally established by the great saint Lhatsun Chenpo and belongs to the Nyingmapa sect. A must-see is the Zandak Palri, a masterpiece of Buddhist sculpture depicting the different realms of Buddhism.
